The town’s biggest block part is back Saturday, May 23. Join us for a day of yard sales, bake sales, community gatherings, live music, and more. And don’t miss FAR OUT Murals the same weekend!
This event is free and open to the public!
April Showers Bring May Flowers!
We're asking for your help to "make it rain," and keep our Main Street flowers blooming year after year!
Every dollar you give offsets cost for hanging baskets and flowers on Main Street from May to October.
Any additional funds raised help support our free public events and shop local initiatives!

Walking WALSENBURG
Handmade flower planters have been a staple for almost twenty years in downtown Walsenburg, thanks to generations of local volunteers, merchants, and the Museum of Friends.
In 2022, through a through a generous Colorado Artist Grant, administered by RedLine and Arts in Society, WDRC collaborated with local designers and fabricators to develop and install steel Walking Walsenburg planters along Main Street.
Continuing in the tradition of storytelling of the areas ancestors, these planters are adorned with iconography evoking a reminder of our collective strengths, diverse culture, and complex history.
Walsenburg Downtown Revitalization Committee
This page is run by the Walsenburg Downtown Revitalization Committee, a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, working to bring events and beautification initiatives to the downtown district to drive resident engagement, tourism, and economic development.
